Gentle Yoga and Guided Meditation surrounded by the healing power of Nature.
Greetings!
Through this website, I hope to nurture our Caritas spirit by offering gentle yoga flows, guided meditation, and reflective practices. Grounded in Caritas principles, I foster inner connection, belonging, and personal growth toward wellness—all rooted in loving-kindness. This is a sacred space to harmonize mind, body, and spirit.
Several years ago, I found myself navigating personal grief while also facing professional burnout. I saw signs of emotional frailty. Though I had decades of experience as a nurse, I realized I had been neglecting my own heart. To begin a healing journey, I consciously worked on finding a balance for mind-body-soul. I integrated practices of yoga, meditation, and immersion in nature, and these Caritas practices helped me begin to slowly restore my inner life.
Now a longtime yoga practitioner, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher ( RYT 200) in Hatha yoga, and certified in Yin yoga, trained on the island of Kaua‘i, Hawai‘i. I continue to draw strength and insight from these Caritas practices.
I am also a registered nurse with over 40 years of experience and a Caritas Coach® trained by the Watson Caring Science Institute. I’ve authored and co-authored articles and books on integrating human caring theory into both personal and professional life.
Take a step toward wellness and join me for a live-streaming, 30-minute gentle yoga session on the free app Insight Timer, every Thursday at 5 PM CT.
Let’s walk this journey together—and gently refuel our Caritas spirit.
With loving-kindness,
K
